Renewing the service
How to renew GPS tracking and mobile connectivity, when the new period starts and what happens to trip history after the service expires.
The price of your tracker includes three years of access to Mugav Auto GPS and the mobile connection used to send data. There is no monthly fee. You can then renew the service for another three years. Renewal covers access to the system and mobile connectivity; the tracker remains yours.
When the service expires
The first three years run from payment for your purchase. Signing in to the app for the first time or moving the tracker to another vehicle does not restart this period.
If you do not remember the expiry date, write to us with the vehicle name and the email address linked to your account. To keep using the service without interruption, contact us about renewal before it expires.
How to renew
- Email us at klienditugi@mugavauto.ee or use our contact page. Include the vehicle name and your account email address. If you have several vehicles, list those whose service you want to renew.
- We will check the service period, confirm the current price and send an invoice. Prices may change over time, so we confirm the amount when arranging renewal.
- Pay the invoice.
- After payment, we will extend your use of the system and mobile connectivity for another three years.
You do not need to change the tracker settings or create a new account yourself.
What happens if you do not renew
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| The paid period ends | The vehicle location stops updating |
| For the next three months | Existing history remains available in the system. You can view trips and download reports |
| After three months | We remove the tracker from the system along with its entire history. If there are no other trackers in your account, we also delete your account |
The physical tracker stays with you.
While you have access to the tracker, you can view trips from the last 24 months. Once the tracker is removed from the system, its entire history becomes unavailable.
If you may need reports later, save them in advance. See Trip history and reports for instructions.
If other trackers remain in your account, we keep the account. You can continue using your other devices with active service.
When the new period starts
If the service has already expired, two rules apply:
- The gap is no longer than three months and the previous history is still saved. The new three years run from the previous expiry date. The gap counts towards the new period. This also applies exactly three months after expiry if the history has not yet been deleted.
- The tracker and its history have already been deleted from the system. We add the tracker again, and the new three years run from payment. We cannot guarantee recovery of the previous history.
For example, the service expired on 10 January 2027, and you paid for renewal on 10 February 2027. If the history is still saved, the new period ends on 10 January 2030. The one-month gap is not added to it.
If your vehicle is missing or data is not updating
This does not necessarily mean the service has expired. First, check that you are signed in to our system and that the tracker is sending data:
- If you cannot sign in, start with the signing-in instructions.
- If you are signed in but there is no new data, check the time of the last connection. See Using the app for instructions. The tracker sends data less often while parked. Updates may also stop if it loses power or mobile connectivity.
If the cause is still unclear, write to us. Include the vehicle name, your account email address and a description of the problem: you cannot sign in, the vehicle has disappeared from the list or its location has stopped updating. We will check the service period and help you find the cause.
Is renewal required
No. The tracker belongs to you. You can stop using our service or connect the device to another compatible system with your own SIM card.
